What should I wear?

We’d love for everyone to dress up a little. Call it semi-formal or elevated garden party! Dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, and suits (or dress shirts with slacks) are all great. Ties are optional, but we’d appreciate no jeans or sneakers. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so plan for grass and gravel. Wedges, block heels, or dressy flats are ideal.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of immediate family. We hope this gives you the chance to enjoy a well-deserved night off and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes a guest, then yes! If you're unsure, feel free to reach out! We’ve tried our best to be clear.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will take place outdoors, with the reception to follow under a tent in the cornfield beside the ceremony location. As part of the celebration, guests will be walking on grass and uneven ground throughout the day, so we kindly suggest choosing footwear suited for an outdoor setting. Stilettos and thin heels may be difficult on uneven ground. We want everyone to be comfortable, relaxed, and ready to enjoy the festivities from start to finish!

Can I take photos?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our wonderful photographer will have it covered, and we’d love for you to be fully present in the moment with us. During the reception, feel free to snap away—and don’t forget to use the disposable cameras we’ll have around the venue!

Will dinner be provided?

You bet. We’ll have a grazing table during cocktail hour, a delicious Italian food truck for dinner, and some late-night snacks to keep you going on the dance floor!

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Please include in your RSVP. There will be vegetarian options available and gluten free on request.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We’ll have wine, beer, seltzers, and a signature cocktail available. Come thirsty, but pace yourself. 😉

Will transportation be provided?

Transportation won’t be provided, so please make a plan for a safe ride home. We love you - no drinking and driving!

Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift to us, and gifts are by no means expected. For those who have asked, we’ve put together a small registry, and for anyone who prefers, a cash gift toward our future together would be sincerely appreciated.

Are there accommodations near the venue?

There are several Airbnb options available in and around Brussels, Ontario for guests looking to stay nearby (http://bit.ly/4w6z7xy). For those who prefer alternative accommodations, here are a few additional options to consider: Pemberley House Bed & Breakfast (Seaforth), Hotel Lux (Blyth), Benmiller Inn & Spa, or the Comfort Inn & Suites (Goderich). We encourage booking early, as availability in the area can be limited depending on the season.
